BPO preferreds

I have a question to the more affluent Brookfield peeps. I am a huge fan of Brookfield and currently own a tons of BPO preferreds A and T series. I know this transaction doesn't include the BPO series' but what now? Are we going to float without a parent company? Should I just sell at this point?

I hold the G and I series - both of which rose 17-18% on the day. I speculate that today's buyers assume that (a) the BPO preferreds will continue to exist under the BAM structure and therefore will receive a higher credit rating than under BPY and (b) that there is a possibility of the preferreds being redeemed at par value down the road. That's an excellent answer. I had a similar thought along with the Brookfield community basically lost all their high dividend attachment except the BPO series'. Literally there is nothing left from Brookfield after losing BPY, BPY,UN, BPYU that gives you 8% yield. So it is in high demand now. Thanks again.
