No, not fine.  Do you work for horizon?
Comment by Nakate on Aug 25, 2015 11:13am
now the spread is hvu down 19% hvi up 2.7%. if these etf are true opposite then that spread is   caused by the trading algos that are playing the bid asks to there advantage by not buying and selling  at the true value to keep the bid ask where it really should be or they are just letting the market decide what it wants to pay regardless of its true value. Either way this is not how it ...more

ya got in cheaper than you should have, what with the organized confusion of the splits screwing up the natural flow of the trading this recent market volitility has been muted and more easily manipulated by those that do such things. This split confusions and broker roadblocks that impede trading smack of an organized collaberation to manipulate retailers for personal and corporate advantage and  ...more

called horizon and they told me they should have a fix soon. It's something to do with yesterday's close of hvu.

ya sure hey wanna buy a bridge got a nice one cheap just for you
Comment by mdaffin on Aug 25, 2015 2:33pm
Is the bridge in Brooklyn? Normally, I don't think they make mistakes in these things - but SVXY down 0.3 and HVI down 1.79? They are similar enough that I would think they would be closer. HVU and TVIX behave in a similar manner (-10 and -10.42). The opposite mirror should be HUV compared to HVI. HUV is down 2.6 with HVI down 1.79? Something doesn't smell right

Learned my lesson - on days when splits/consolidations going on, find another way to play the VIX.
Comment by Nakate on Aug 25, 2015 2:51pm
I  thought I did buy post  split on monday but they treat a 2:1 like a dividend and a 1:10 like a consolidation and still managed to find a way to game the retailer out of game and into the red zone. I hardly ever trade anymore due to the fact that the hft guys and the market makers plus the online broker pools are all playing against the retailer to steal his money. its hard to make a ...more

Yep they fixed it good frackers

the only thing I can figure out is horizon priced HVI wrong for the split. They said yesterday's close price was wrong. Maybe they should of used the bid price at the close. I thought I was getting a deal at 11.20, boy was I wrong.
Comment by Nakate on Aug 25, 2015 4:40pm
don't make excuses for them they seriously fracked something up and then hid behind the market while everyone got burned. This is unacceptable.

HVI to drop 50% by tomorrow. You may yet learn what "termination risk" means.
