Schacter was obviously blind sided....said he owned shares ?
and i'm gobsmacked....sold earlier, at $1 (how did that happen !). Find this 'deal' bizarre in the extreme....little benefit, huge pain. BXE should have issued higher interest bonds ( 11% / 12 % ?) with right to pay interest in shares in tough times...there would have been takers....and waited for opportunities to realize on its hugely undervalued assets.
This plan achieves little, and most of the debt is still there, just out 3 years.
Stunning, and to me, unexpected.
