Christophe Tepr brought Landewyck to Poda
Christophe Tepr signed a contract with Poda on November 2, 2021 and, joined them officially on February 17th, 2022 as VP of European Sales and international expansion.
I think that it was Tepr who recommended that Poda switch distributors from Eson to Poda.
Tepr held a position at BAT (Bristish American Tobacco) focusing on commericializing and growing their Heat not Burn Products. BAT in turn holds a 25% ownerhsip in Landewyck.
Landewycyk has manufacturing plants and an established distribution channel that is open to more than 30 countries, with their own brand and private label.
Poda will bring their Intellectual property of heat not burn technology and use the manufacturing and distributiion channels of Landewyck both for private label and, Landewyck brands. BAT will be using poda pods through their private label.
Given that BAT is a giant and is competiting head on with Philipp Morris, it means that the amount of Poda pods to be sold per months should be massive, which means alot more than they would have done through Eson at 10 million pods per month and up to 250 million pods per month.
We must be talking about billions of pods per year. Phillipp Morris did 80 billion sticks per year and BAT competes with them.
Their is a reason why Tepr manages companies that enter HYPER GROWTH. His strategy is to hit billions of pods from off the bat.
My personal opinion,
