You dont need to. If you sell 10,000 shares now at $2.70, and it drops to $2.50 - you can buy back 10,400.

You just increased your position by 400 shares.


Of course, the key-word is if.

If Valens keeps going up, and never drops below $2.70, that's when you tell yourself there's nothign wrong with taking the profit you madeon $2.70 - $1.40 = $1.30 per share.

Just dont sell your entire position. I trade maybe 10% of my position like that, and I've been able to increase my position by a LOT over the past year.
