Key Patent for Atmofizer's air purification technology
VANCOUVER, BC, March 9, 2022 /CNW/ - Atmofizer Technologies Inc. (the "Company" or "Atmofizer") (CSE: ATMO) (Frankfurt: J3K) (OTCQB: ATMFF) announces today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (the "USPTO") has issued a notice of allowance for claims related to the Company's air and water purification technology.
The allowed patent application, titled, "Ultra-Fine Particle Aggregation, Neutralization and Filtration" (US Patent Application No. 17/471,610) provides broad protection for the application of the Company's air and water purification technology.
"This notice of allowance provides further validation of our novel approach to air and water purification technology and enables Atmofizer to confidently pursue further development of its technology." said Olivier Centner, Chief Executive Officer of Atmofizer Technologies Inc.
Joel Weiss, Managing Partner of Weiss & Arons, LLP, and Atmofizer's IP counsel, stated, "allowance of the Atmofizer Patent validates the Atmofizer technological solutions to real technological problems and signifies the relevance, on a go-forward basis, of Atmofizer in the air and water purification markets."
Olivier further states, "This patent is a critical step in protecting our technology and establishing ourselves as the leaders in purifying air from even the smallest ultra fine particles, the ones that get past our bodies natural defenses, into our blood and even our brains. COVID has raised awareness of air quality, the market is growing exponentially and Joel and his team have done a fantastic job ensuring we protect our technology so we can focus on commercialization."
A notice of allowance is issued after the USPTO makes the determination that a patent should be granted from an application. A patent from the recently allowed application is pending issuance and is expected to be issued in the near future.
