RE: MEG55.........eric221

RE: MEG55.........eric221 I agree eric with most of your concept of custom mining and it is quite plausible. I was thinking the same thing. The thing is....... until the exact mining method is determined by Scott Wilson RoscoePA and Mr. Shefsky we'll not know exactly what equipment Pele will need. There is still the possibility that they could go with 100% Solvent Leach Recovery or whatever they call it these days. We know they are going Stope and Pillar because they want to utilize Stope Flood Bacterial Leach. The question is will they be able to achieve a high enough recovery percentage from the lower metre or so to footwall where the material grades as high as 6.0 Lbs./tonne or will the higher grade material be hoisted to surface for crushing to increase recovery rates. Then the lower grade hanging wall and middle MCB muck could be Stope Flood Leached. It will all come down to recovery rates from various extraction methods taking the REO factor into account. If grinding is supported by the REO economics that would be great because a 95% recovery could be acheived and a mill would be feasible. Bio-Leaching with the quartz pebble conglomerate in the area has historically reached 65%-70% recovery but it was only utilized for the low grade hanging wall material, the exception being the Kerr-Addison Mine at Agnew Lake where 100% of Material was Leached 70% underground and 30% Surface Heap leach. In Pele's case, based on drilling to date, if we hoisted to surface just the Lower 35% to Footwall we could see grades averaging 3-4 lbs./tonne (or greater) feeding into the Surface Equipment. What that equipment will be......... will be known soon enough.
