A THC breathalyzer is not an easy thing

to produce but Cannabix is successfully showing promise by following the Mass Spectrometry model which is the go-to science.

This science works in the lab setting under scientific protocol which basically means a controlled temperature, humidity and a real scientist administering the operation.

Cannabix is trying to get it to work at roadside or at a trucking terminal by a cop or safety person under varying conditions.

Things also change, like a new hemp cannabinoid called Delta 9 THC extracted from hemp which is legal as per current laws but the sci/bio guys have learned how to contrate the extract to do the same thing as regular pot which is to get you high.

I inquired to Cannabix about them being able to detect if Hemp use would cause a positive with their device and the answer, at the time, was no!  Not so sure about now.

The Sci/Bio guys have also figured out how to make the onset of the thc molecule fast on and off to be comparable to alcohol time and effect for ingestion by eating which used to be delayed and consumers got in to trouble by over ingesting because of the delayed time for an effect and the time it took to wear off.

All contenders for a pot and hemp impairment detection device have to get it sanctioned by lawmakers as they did with the alcohol breathalyzer.  This will need approval by law and scientific types.

What Cannabix is working on is a mechanical device that gives a fair assessment of how much thc is in their system that will arbitrarily be accepted by lawmakers and society like the .08 for alcohol impairment.

Cannabix is working on a pistol type model that is getting oohs and ahs, albeit, not enough to drive the shareprice to the crazy heights that the bac models got when they first hit the market.

Artificial Intelligence is making huge gains and some of those whiz kids could probably come up with a program to detect impairment based on cloud knowledge but will have to get it accepted by society and lawmakers just like the Cannabix model.

Necessity is the mother of invention and society wants and needs this, especially police and the first to the finish line with a working model will reap huge rewards.

I sold most of my investment in BLO at a good profit but have been re-stocking in hopes of Cannabix being first and getting a huge multi-bagger.

Thank you Geodcan! I do understand what you'e saying (mentioned) about BLO however, I too have been formally in industry engineering R & D, testing for certification(s) and accreditations. The various authorities have had multiple oppertunities to test, albiet as single THC only detection. Now with the dual THC detection and alcohol breathalizer, which the later has been proven in industry

The lawmakers screwed this up as per normal by tendering for the dual purpose device which is BAT and THC breath detection in one unit. At one time BLO had some success with the pure THC unit and even bragged up a desk model that would probably worked at a police station. BLO followed up with a breath collection device, presumably to take the sample from the roadside to the police station or lab
