RE:recent news maybe missedGHR
If you have noticed almost every release the govt has put out,,it states they will work with willing partners.

I am not saying the framework agreement is dead but Bob Rae has milked this enough and got nowhere as was originally suspected from  4years ago.

Cardinal mistake to involve all nine from the get go. Historically they never got along anyway. Indicators of that are they never amalgamated into a  council with a head chief appointed .They all act unilaterally.. Unlike the mushkegowuk who are a true government unto themselves.

A  deal will come involving Marten Falls,Webequie and Aroland and the mushkegowuk. The upstream folks like Neskantaga and Eabametong have zero say.

Eabematong and Neskantaga are still posturing on the  east west corridor,,,that is the only clout they have, rivers flow downstream not upstream.
If you notice Webequie EA is designated as a supply road,,,,Neskantagas and Eabematongs only political clout would be moving heavy equipment across the existing winter roads to Webequie. They could potentially stop a north south push
So build south to north,,,,,may take longer  with out access east west to supply construction equipment to webequie but thats the way it would go.

This is all greed at its best concerning the 2  neskantaga and eabematong,,,,,i can imagine there is a lot of infighting going on in matawa.
