RE:Just wondering (canadian tax question)

RE:Just wondering (canadian tax question)
as per the peons at cibc ,,, I cant move umb until the first day of unhaulted trading and they will move it at the previous closing price wich is 14 cents ...........

the x factor ......   it has to be moved to a non registered account first and then to tfsa account.
over the last 2 weeks i moved a few stocks this way and sometimes it takes 24 hrs and some times it takes 48 hours. The person transfering the stock some times leves it in the non registered account for the extra day which means you will contribute to your TFSA at the unhalted price!

i did my last transfer on Wednesday and tried to get an explanation why the difference in transfer times, he put me on hold and came back and said he could do it with in 24 hrs and he did. i also had to call back a few times before i got some one who knew what they were doing.
