I don't own USGL, but have owned Tone, White Knight, Miranda at various times. We have talked about those in past. I have owned Goldcorp for long time and have communicated with Rob McEwen. He is a visionary in this field and borders on brilliance. He knows gold, the markets and this business like very few others do.
If the last 3 holes including #8 show any good mineralization, that might be a point where he might request all of any private placement, before the Barricks get too interested. I wouldn't be surprised if Bolder or BMO was acting for him these past weeks. He might have gotten a couple million cheap shares already.
Or because of it's small market cap, might just make an offer for a controlling share in CAT. In any case, Rob is very aware of what's happening with Staccato, because he plans on being the "new King of Nevada" and don't bet against him. MHO
