RE: any advice appreciated

RE: any advice appreciatedIt has been a while since I took the securities course, so here is my best explanation. The Companies you refer to ie. Gordon Daley Grenadier were generally primary distributors of shares. The shares don't trade on secondary market where a market maker and clearance is done. The market is done by the distributor and usually without a market maker, so price is totally up to the distributor who usually owns all the shares. The only place you can sell them is back to the distributor, Gordon Daley, if you want to take them back. I have not heard of those 2 companies in a very long time, so if they still are in business, you have to call them directly. GDG was a big primary distributor, but securities commision has cracked down on boiler room operations in past decade. cheers
