ditrin -your question you are confusedSince it is obvious you have not followed a diamond play before save everyone some time and do some reading brief description of steeping stones for diamond exploration.
1. Prospect for indicator minerals-as Metaldog says what better indicator than diamonds (G10 garnets, chrome etc)
2. Aero-Mag survey
3. Ground survey grab samples or auger drilling (the stage they are in now
4. Source core drilling- thickness of pipe or dyke and grade
5. Tonnage and Grade value estimates ($ per carat)
6. Decision to Mini-Bulk sample
Maybe you get the picture, but there are better sources for information, some here and some on other sites. bottom line is they have found something very interesting with minimal auger drilling, if this continues you may want to do your DD very quickly.
