Last year they were telling us that they were working on partnering with growers and what did they accomplish? One partner with 2 acres...maybe 2.75 acres? That's it? Maybe it's time to buy 10 or 20 acres of our own and start growing our own. I thought we valued vertical integration? In house!
Last year they told us of all the biomass they would process with those two processing machines. That was going to provide us large profits. What they forgot to tell us is that they were also buying swifters to dust the machines because they could not procure much biomass to speak of.
They tell us of clinical trials coming....for 2 years now. No trials. So no proof of what the strips can do.
They tell us the patent is imminent....always imminent. Never final. Still not sure who owns what regarding the patent. It's Saunders patent is it not? Guess I would have to look back and see what rights LDS has to that patent....if the patent ever comes. Surely we have rights to use the patented process for mj products. Not sure after that. If pharmacueticals want to buy rights to use the process for other purposes I don't know if we have any rights outside of mj...and I'm not going to research it. But I have seen others that think we will profit big if big pharma comes knocking. I'm not so sure.
Posters are as big of problem as management. They tell us of rumors of big pharma looking at us. LOL. Prove it!!! Some tell us of the worldwide distribution of the strips. LOL. We cant even report quantities sold....att least I haven't seen them. Mostly sounds like sample lots at festivals and small quantities to a few retailers. Posters calculate the sp if certain large quantities of product were sold. Everything is if this...or if that. Everyone craves those posts that may contain a shread of hope of something that may raise the sp.
So I'll check back now and then but not expecting any radical changes....maybe for another year. And then we could be encounting more issues that set us back even more. I don't know.
But I don't hinge my hopes on every next post that provides another new senerio. The progress I want to see in in the quarterly reports....and again...they are called profits. Real profits. Not the every news release that says that when we accomplish this or that we could really have sales and profits. While I may like some of the news it is not the same as profits and as we have seen....most of the nr's don't really affect the sp. Profits will.
I'm beginning to think the recent rise in sp may have all been related to the PP. I don't see anything else that is material enough to make a difference. Brad did not knock anyones socks off prior to or at the AGM IMHO.
So make it happen Brad. Sales and Profits. That's all that matters to me.
Maybe I'm the one that is off track with my thoughts....I'm just an uninformed investors ya know.
