Is where it is due to the extended uncertainty of the deal. The combo of the chance cl falls to close the arb gap, with risk of OH re vote, risk of further cannabis sector downside, , cl share unlock

In light of the woeful state of the sector and that larger is now preferable to smaller in terms of survival, I'd be surprised if shareholders of either company would be in favour of rejecting the deal. With this in mind, the upcoming meeting in Dec will likely confirm that the deal will close under the present terms in mid Jan at which point, the spread should immediately close. So tax ...more

Maybe, but a couple of thoughts came to mind when they announced the new deal. The financing OH is to obtain was sold as means to prop up CL but the first thought that came to mind is that the finance amount could also possibly cover the penalty to cancel should the vote not go through. I would think OH has to have a viable option. My second thought was if OH truely has the best distribution in ...more

An interesting view but if this was the case, you would think that on occasion, it would be OH in the green and CL in the red instead of always the other way round.  GLTA
