RE:RE:RE:Oh well........Actually highrider you are mistaken regarding short sale rules on the TSX and Venture. The Canadian exchanges followed the Americans and dropped the uptick rule in 2007.There are no restrictions regarding short sales other than the failure to borrow stock and the resulting threat of a buyin. This makes it easy pickings for shorts with considerable resources to gang up on a stock and drive it lower.
