"Colombia Day" in the most important mining exhibition in the world #PDAC2015

The fourth edition of “Colombia Day” will take place on March 2nd, at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Convention – PDAC, the most important mining fair in the world.

The PDAC Convention is an international reference for the mining sector, which is attended by more than thirty thousand people. The Colombian participation during the event will be in charge of the Mining and Energy Minister, Tomas Gonzalez, the President of the National Mining Agency, Natalia Gutierrez, and the Assistant Director of Subsurface Resources Colombian Geological Survey, Gloria Prieto.

Colombia Day will take place on the premises of Fairgrounds Metro Toronto convention Centre in the North Building Room 206B.

Colombia will also be present in the academic agenda of PDAC, with the intervention of Vice minister of Mines, Maria Isabel Ulloa and the President of the Colombian Association of Mining, Santiago Angel, at the Forum for Social Responsibility: "Policy and community outreach practices: the Colombian experience" (North Building, Room #717).

For the first time in the history of PDAC, Colombia will have a booth at the commercial exhibition (Trade show North, Booth # 3103N) , where visitors including investors, explorers, academics and other government delegates can learn more about Colombia’s mining potential and opportunities.

“The Mining Ministry and the National Mining Agency are committed to the promotion of the mining sector, its progress and achievements, through spaces that open doors to the country in the international arena. PDAC is not only a global platform and certainly the largest convention of its kind, but it's the greatest showcase to share information on the wide mineral potential of Colombia" says Natalia Gutierrez Jaramillo, President of the ANM.
