RE:FDM Platform LaunchOne has to realize the scope of the convention. It is the largest that Las Vegas hosts with over 100,000 attendees. Presenters such as Tim Cook take to prime stages and get stong ink. With all due respect, Henri has not 'arrived' yet; let us hope he does in years to come! Micro companies that no one has heard of such as FDM do not get afforded any stage as they are simply one of thousands there. Such companies target attendees that might further their objectives by having scheduled meetings etc. In this case, I would think that HH has rented a side space for those targeted in which to display FDM wares. There are tons and tons of meetings and similar launches outside the inner ring. The CES simply gets all those targeted in the same space at the same time; it is up to the entrepreneur to make the best of that circumstance.
As far as being an "exhibitor", those attendees have display booths set up in seperate halls that attendees mill around from aisle to aisle to aisle. I am uncertain whether FDM will ever use that type of Exhibition Venue to "push our product" as those FDM targets are pretty specific and can likely be targeted as HH has done this go around by analyzing who will be attending that might use the platform or be possible strategic partners etc and invite them to the private.

I'm going out on a limb here with the Eureka Start-up Zone.
