Theories on What Happened Today?

There was not any new information or news release today, so I am trying to figure out what caused the positive volume and activity. The theories I can think of:
1) The private placement sharedholders have changed the game in some way and the manipulator vermin have backed off this particular stock, so there is more "free and clean" trading? That seems unlikely given the high volume, as I would think high volume would indicate there is still siginificant activity from the manipulator cesspool.
2) The paid article on Stockhouse had a big impact? That seems unlikely to me, even though it was an excellent article - very clear and detailed.
3) Some big news is about to be released, insiders know about it and are buying now before the pop? This fits in with the FOMO concept Praesens referred to (yes, I had to google that one to understand the acronym). 
My own guess is it would be reason 3). I can't think of any other explanations. Am I missing something?

Ricky, my bro, I scrolled back , saw your post to me and i have a duty to Respond to you my buddy. We are a solid Group of 12-15 Junior investors,, Families/Relatives&Friends, [FRF] in Trades and have contacts with Brokers/Consultants who know us and who give us advice what  to invest in.  These 12-15 in our group then disseminate to their FRF and hence it multiplies exponentially

In my household, I have 3 investors. When someone is logged on , eg. me on SH, than my wife will type and post on the forum under me without logging me out. We have several juniors invested in together and also separatey so you will see a different pattern and style all over SH.  Just don't analyze the content bro, read and forget it, no fundamentals which is insider info, even the NRs

I thought about that one but figured Canada is such a small fish it would have minimal impact on the target base for FDM. Is my take wrong in the sense that this bill helps FDM as a Canadian company to acquire a domestic gaming license and expand into other areas?

Thats  amazing news ,next youll be able to drink alcohol in public places ,build a waste treatment facilites to clean your own sewage water ,dismantle your own ships in your own country and quit sending millions of tons of garbage in shipping containers to other countrys .FDM pump show full monty.

Hey R&M, I have no clue nor any real analysis to add...and when it comes to FDM I stop asking why the swings, in both directions.  Irrational exuberance, I might postulate, as it was oversold to the downside and the buying back has started as nothing fundamentally has changed when it was in the 40 to 50 cent range. We'll see what the next few weeks bring and if management executes
