Make sure to have Global Hemp Group Inc. at the top of your trading screen!

Greetings Investors,

One thing the United States did not anticipate to happen in 2020 was for the home building market to skyrocket like crazy!

In fact, new-home construction activity last year soared to the highest level in over a decade!

“Residential construction remains well-supported by (so far) record-low mortgage rates, record-lean resale listings, and the migration of teleworkers to the suburbs.”

—  Michael Gregory, deputy chief economist at BMO Capital Markets.

>“Housing starts have recovered and were at their strongest pace in more than 14 years. There aren’t enough homes in this country to go around, and we need a long-lasting surge of construction to meet demand.”

—  Holden Lewis, home and mortgage expert at personal-finance website NerdWallet.

(Source: https://www.marketwatch.com/ story/new-home-construction-activity-soars-to-highest-level-in-over-a-decade-as-builders-rush-to-produce-single-family-homes-2021-01-21)

While it's great that construction is booming, many people have no idea that the construction industry has one of the largest carbon footprints of any industry!

The use of chemicals in our buildings have increased as we try to improve their fire resistance and thermal performance. This has thus increased the prevalence of Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) caused by the exposure to these toxins.

SBS is a condition in which people in a building suffer from symptoms of illness or become infected with chronic disease from the building in which they work or reside. This can include headaches; eye, nose, or throat irritation; dry cough; dry or itchy skin; dizziness and nausea; difficulty in concentrating; fatigue; and sensitivity to odors.

Luckily there is a solution.....

We don't have to stop construction, but we must start considering hemp for the future!

Did you know hemp materials can replace the use of these chemical laden products and even improve the health of people living in them?

With the world filled with concerns over health and environmental issues, hemp building products are quickly becoming a solution to both issues!

Hemp building materials trap carbon absorbed by the plant during the growing process into the building sequestering them for the life of the structure.

Houses built using locally sourced hemp that are constructed with hempcrete can actually be carbon negative!

Unlike concrete and its binding cement, which accounts for about 8% of human-generated carbon dioxide emissions annually, hempcrete can actually sequester CO2.

According to a recent study, hempcrete can sequester 307 kilograms of CO2 per cubic meter (19 pounds per cubic foot), roughly the equivalent of the annual carbon emissions of three refrigerators. (https://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/ article/hemps-promising-future-in-construction)

“While we’re growing it and building hempcrete, it’s sucking CO2 the whole time and encapsulating the CO2 in the structure.”

—  Eric McKee, founder of the U.S. Hemp Building Association

Buildings made from hempcrete also easily stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter — resulting in a perfect material for nearly any climate and leading to substantial energy savings!

The positive impact of using hemp in building materials is obviously clear....

Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) is an emerging player in the rapidly growing industrial hemp space that looks set to capture major recognition as Wall Street learns about the company's HAIZ project in Colorado!

The Colorado HAIZ will create substantial shareholder value through the incremental introduction of multiple revenue streams to meet the Company’s objectives and set it on a path to becoming a leader in sustainable hemp-based “green” construction in the United States!

The project will also create third-party off take opportunities and can be replicated in other suitable U.S. markets

This project is the ticket for the company to showcase just how profitable and important sustainable solutions are for a greener future!

As a recent member of the U.S. Hemp Building Association ('USHBA'), Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) is gearing up to become a dominant player in the construction arena through the use of hemp and could see tremendous upside potential ahead!

We are excited to introduce you to:

Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) is focused on a multi-phased strategy to build a strong presence in the industrial hemp industry in the United States.

Founded in 2014, the Company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, with hemp cultivation operations in the state of Oregon.

Global Hemp Group Inc.'s current phase of the strategy focuses on the development of sustainable and green value-added industrial hemp products utilizing the processing of the entirety of the hemp plant, as envisioned in the company's Colorado Hemp Agro-Industrial Zone (HAIZ) project.

In addition, the company has established a Research and Development Division to actively pursue the development of Intellectual Property that can be patented and implemented in the hemp and/or building industry, and in particular at Company’s Colorado HAIZ.

The Division will be headed by Prof. Victor M. Castao, Ph.D. from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, a recognized leader in areas of applied science and technology!

The R&D team brings an amazing wealth of knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines and will initially focus on development of Environmentally-Friendly Construction Materials, Nanofertilizers and Enhanced Extraction from Hemp.

The Colorado HAIZ Project

Mission of the HAIZ – To fully utilize 100% of the hemp plant in producing healthy products for people and the planet!

The Colorado HAIZ project is being developed under the banner of Innovative Hemp Technologies (IHT). The core objective of IHT is to develop green and affordable homes in a Planned Unit Development utilizing hemp-based construction materials to meet historical pent-up demand in the area.

This will complement the projects onsite development of largescale irrigation and cultivation of industrial hemp and the manufacture of hemp-based construction products and textiles.

The project will significantly expand the existing water rights and infrastructure assets through the completion of a series of targeted acquisitions strategic for accumulation of long-term real estate assets, while generating multiple revenue streams for the Company.

Most hemp projects struggle as growing the hemp is only a small part of the business equation. Finding a market and a purchaser for the hemp will ultimately dictate the success of the project.

There is substantial pent up demand for hemp that has not been fulfilled over the last several decades.

The Colorado project is fundamentally a real estate project that has a methodology to significantly increase the value of the real estate assets acquired and generate an initial revenue stream from the marketing of affordable eco-friendly housing!

Then, by adding hemp to the equation will develop multiple revenue streams from key operating segments.

Segment focus will include irrigated industrial hemp cultivation; primary processing; manufacturing of hemp-based (“green”) construction products; and the fabrication of affordable housing utilizing the products produced at the Colorado project, making it completely vertically integrated!

Through additional partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions, the partners will collaborate to build an industrial complex with a strategic portfolio of forward thinking companies that also believe in the disruptive potential of industrial hemp.

In February of 2021, Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) signed a Definitive Agreement with Prescient Strategies Group LLC to acquire all of its Western Sierra Resource Corporation (OTC: WSRC) Preferred A Class Share holdings in a private, third party transaction.

The resulting acquisition of these WSRC Prefs will give GHG control over WSRC, and specifically its strategic water infrastructure assets that will be an integral part of the HAIZ project.

Documented historical valuations of the 4,000 acre feet of water rights and associated infrastructure are based on 2013 and 2015 MAI appraisals and engineering reports.

This water infrastructure has been diligently developed over the last 15 years and collectively supports a value of $40 million or higher!

The company has contracted a third party valuation of this initial assessment value to support such appraisal.

The availability of these water resources is a key resource in developing the project and creating multiple revenue streams from its three operational segments:

  • Hemp cultivation
  • Processing
  • Sustainable construction

Affordable Housing is an approved “beneficial use” for the water.

  • Approved for 2,969 residential dwellings
  • 40 years of affordable housing shortage
  • 1,000 acres identified
  • Average house size – 1,500 sq ft
  • Target selling price $275,000 - $425,00

“Since Global Hemp’s inception, the Company’s vision has always been about sustainability and collaboration, with a focus on the development of the industrial aspects of the hemp. The multiple applications of the hemp plant, notably in the building industry, will become the most significant over time. This project combines all of the Company’s values into one project.”

—  Curt Huber, President of Global Hemp

The hemp-based house construction will benefit from the expertise of Gabriel Gauthier, GHG’s Advisor and a pioneer in hemp construction in North America!

Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) is focused on a multi-phased strategy to build a strong presence in the industrial hemp industry in the United States.

Nanofertilizers are emerging as a promising alternative to chemical fertilizers in agriculture.

The use of nanotechnology opens up ground breaking areas of R&D, in which the nanostructures allow an increase of up to 20% in plant yield, while diminishing, by orders of magnitude the use of traditional chemicals, and having a positive impact on the environment and the cost of farming.

Enhanced Extraction from Hemp

Prof. Castao and his team have experience in extraction of essential oils using enzymes and microfauna, which represent a truly innovative and green approach to this industry

Why Hemp Houses?

It was in 2018 that President Trump signed the Farm Bill, legalizing hemp. This accelerated the hemp industry's growth!

Jacob Waddell, President of the U.S. Hemp Building Association has stated, "The future will demand improvements in our construction practices to create a sustainable industry. Hemp is our opportunity to improve the health of our families and our world by building smarter."

Joyce Beckerman, vice president of the Hemp Industries Association has said of hemp, “The overall environmental footprint is dramatically lower than traditional construction.” (Source: https://www.cannabistech.com/ articles/ hemp-hempcrete-the-most-sustainable-building-material-on-Earth/)

The building sector is one of the greatest burdens to the environment. Globally, buildings during their life-time, are major contributors to climate change!

Hemp is one of the few plants on earth that can provide significant social, environmental and economic benefits. It is also one of the only plants that can be grown commercially almost anywhere in the world.

The growing and harvesting of hemp is a far more sustainable process than harvesting wood for use as building products due to the short time period in which a crop is ready to harvest.

The hemp-lime combination, commercially called Hempcrete, offers new environmental perspectives.

Viewed in the whole life cycle, the hempcrete house is carbon neutral, or may even be negative, contributing to the reduction of CO2 produced in construction and the operation of a hemp house!

You can construct a modest sized home with 4 to 5 acres of hemp, which will sequester approx. 20 tons of CO2!

Additionally, as the hempcrete dries over time and re-carbonates, it will recapture some of the CO2 that was released in the lime fabrication process.

Advantages of hempcrete:

  • Environmentally friendly
  • Low carbon footprint and fully recyclable
  • Excellent insulation, low thermal conductivity
  • Non-hazardous to work with
  • Natural pest resistance
  • Fire resistant

Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) has signed a Research Collaboration Agreement with Aramat Quertaro, an organization focused on the recognition of the substantive rights of "green herb" users and legal "green herb" and hemp cultivator in Mexico.

The collaboration is the next step in GHGs vision of expanding its Research Division in Mexico!

With the immanent legalization of hemp in Mexico, hemp material (hurd and fibre) will become more readily available for the company's research team to utilize in its ongoing development of environmentally friendly hemp-based building materials that will be utilized at the Company’s Colorado Hemp Agro-Industrial Zone (HAIZ) and/or widely marketed.

Mexican legislation is expected to provide licenses to cultivate, research, and export the plant.

In addition to the ongoing sharing of knowledge and expertise relating to hemp between the parties, Aramat has committed to grow industrial hemp to supply the R&D Division with hemp hurd and fibre for its ongoing research.

The Company is currently sourcing a number of different varieties of industrial hemp seed that will be tested in an initial 1-2 hectare cultivation.

Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) and Aramat are currently evaluating a number of proposed locations based on climate, soil and general growing conditions. A final location will be determined shortly.

The Bottom Line

In the coming decade, the interest in “going green” will only continue to grow, especially in construction....

In the past year the construction space has blown up and going forward, the trend to emerge will be improving standards and use of better and safer building products.

Several companies are already involved in green building practices including Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE: HON) at over $200 a share!

This gives a representation of the growth potential there is for emerging players such as Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) who could see explosive upside ahead as the company works on the Colorado HAIZ project to establish a name for itself in using hemp to build green homes in the U.S.!

This could be just the beginning of many more projects to come!

Historically hemp projects have struggled as growing hemp and identifying a market to sell to, will not create a successful company.

But adding a buyer for your product to the equation and becoming vertically integrated, certainly will. In the case of the Colorado HAIZ, a market has been identified with large scale pent up demand (affordable housing) that hasn’t been relieved in several decades.

Additionally, if you do not already have the necessary water infrastructure in place, there is a huge barrier to entry for others.

Well Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) has the water and the assets are valued at $40 million!

This is the ideal market to enter for the company, as the real estate side of the project will be successful even before the inclusion of hemp-based building materials!

As the practice of green building rises in popularity, construction companies across the United States will have to eventually adapt their outdated methods and consider hemp in their methods.

It's going to become vital to reduce carbon emissions and eliminate waste, while improving sustainability under the pressures of environmental regulations and public attention.

These are the kind of changes that benefit progressive investors looking towards a "green future" and Global Hemp Group Inc. (OTC: GBHPF | CSE: GHG | FRANKFURT: GHG) is one to keep a close eye on in 2021!

Start your research right away!
