Ten Questions-The Ladder To Success
Ones mind wanders when it's not fully occupied, or when it seeks diversions germane to the pleasure centers of the brain. Specifically mine today, while during a quite informative CC, several interesting questions came into my head. Certainly none worth asking then and there. That would have placed the presenters in an awkward but guaranteed position of denial or no comment, comment. As it was I found many hidden tidbits worthy of further discussion. In a public forum though we can wheel and deal, run and gun, about such oddities as those that pop into ones brain.
1) Is it just me or has APS/TH et al come up with a first past the post solution to bringing AR/MR/VR to the masses by way of easier development and work tools ?
2) in doing so, these tools, which will be available to most developers through license (correct ?) and will clear major cost hurdles and quicken mass public appeal ?
3) in clearing cost hurdles, solving seemingly large other issues, what then would be the revenue potential of the suite of tools to the new JVC ?
4) Ms. Wasserman's CV reads like a who's who of the genre and an eternity of skill set embellishments to wield at her whim. Specifically, what is she going to do for IP, wear one hat ? Or many ? Or is she there to bring eyes, hands and cheque books to the table and position the brand, at number one ?
5) Speaking of bringing eyes to the table, one must assume that TH's vast network of colleagues, coworkers, fans and fishing friends may be incoming ?
6) The comment regarding a young "Lions Gate" was of particular interest. If one looks at the early history of Lions Gate, they grew by acquisition. Indeed still generating revenue of 42 million that first-class year. My question is if they are ahead of pace versus LGP at the same point on the time line, then we are short a few million in earnings so far. So why would that be said ? If revenue is not about to take off ?
7) What could the China trip and the connection to Ohmore Media generate as future revenue. ? Moreover, what of interest in the technology side that Asian movie studios have shown a heightened interest in. ?
8) Being in finance you tend to think differently than others when it comes to the stock game. What does the company have in its long term plan for continued operational finance needs ? LGP used a number of methods in its early years including the use of convertible promissory notes, equity investment by notables like Paul Allen (yes he of former Microsoft fame). Do they use traditional or creative methods ? Do they bring in angel investors, or famous names ala LGP ? Answering this question in a successful way would make me very happy.
9) TH made mention of Interknowlogy's extensive client list, and those unmentionable due to NDA. Is this going to be an issue with the JVC ? Thereby affecting IP's marketing of these high profile associations ?
10) More of a comment than a question. Keys to being successful in any business include equitable cash flow/financing, management skill set, proprietary products / services, customer base. It seems the company is at or near checking off all of these critical elements. The next 90 days will tell us all. If not already obvious, our office group will be lending encouragement and cheering them on. They could have something very special here. Now just to put the pieces together.
