RE:RE:What a jokeSorry you lost your first investment ...especially as it seems the advice came from your father. But then you know Pinetree collapsed because it was a financier to junior resource companies and when that "industry" collapsed, they took Pinetree share price down with them. It had nothing to do with bad management.
If you believe that it is all about who is associated with the company, then do look at them and see. Not saying you should invest, not saying this is going to $5, but I am in for pennies and expect that I will do fine with that team of well connected people on board.
I am also an early NTAR investor and have made good money there, so I understand the AR market and what IP brings to it. It first caught my eye when it was still part of Future Farms (now there is a bad management story!) and I saw the future it could have. When it was spun out I bought and sold and accumnulated and the way down and up. Currently sitting on just under a 30k gain. And Evan is a proven force...
I dipped my toes in here in February, and gave them two months to start gaining traction...in April I bought more and in May I went in seriously. They HAVE been signing contracts and their recent announcement of a partnership with a leading change consultancy means a lot here. I expect lots more as sports and casinos open up...with agreements and relationships there already in place
Not saying you should buy, not saying anyone should, just saying I am happy to take a calculated risk that my 6 cents a share will bring me a decent return.
And good for you that you flipped IP on a penny increase. Hope you got sufficient volume behind that to make it meaningful

Completely agree with you HawkII, I started out 12 years ago investing , my father in law told me to buy pinetree at 12.00 put some vacation money in it and it would be higher in 6 months lol. I was brand new to investing so that was my first train crash start. Held it to pennies averaged down and got out with little loss and 3 years of gut renching pain watching it implode all while sheldon was in control.
I bought IP for a .01 penny flip just to feel better about narrowing that inital loss, Don't intend to invest here again just don't want to see newer investors get wiped out here. Its a shell game with many aliases don't believe what is said on the boards going to $5 my god are you nuts. The space is great and a lot of really good managed comapnies out there just look at their track records read sedar docs faithfully and you have a much better chance surrviving these shark infested waters. Take ntar for one as leaders in the space they actually can command that market cap and art.v leaders in the space that are just starting to bloom at a 10m market cap but with incredible leadership, larry oreilly led sales for imax before art.v. Don't believe the hype but yes some companies on the venture are real and the only way to sift out the golden ones is to research the management and sedar docs and art.v even has pay related to milestones wow what a concept. Hopefully ip had all good intentions to reward shareholders and grow the company but just be pretty dam careful.
