RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Lack of planHoly cow I’m gonna lose it. I feel another essay coming.
Mariameatballs - welcome to my ignore list. I wanted to give you a chance, but wow. Yes, you can post whatever you want, but substantiate it! I commented that it would be nice to have some intelligent discussion. I never said it all had to be positive. But if you're gonna come in here after starting a stockhouse account less than 24 hrs ago specifically to bash this stock, at least try a little harder.
You say management is "a couple of ex brokers that became promoters". Management is one of the first things I look at when I go long on a penny play. Ex brokers and now promoters eh? Ok, source this. Give us a link. Explain to us why you feel this way. Well, I guess that would be tough because the statement is completely incorrect, but I think we'd all like to see you try. LIB’s rock star team is one of their best assets.
And then you're going on about revenue...wtf? THIS IS A PENNY STOCK GENIUS! Of course there is no revenue yet! I know this is literally your first day on stockhouse, but is this your first day in the stock market? Penny stocks don't show profits and they are profoundly risky. No one is denying this. We're investing in the potential for
future profits. That's the fun of it…and the stress, and the big reward if you pick a good one...big swings based on big sentiment and broker manipulation, not revenue, because most penny stocks don’t have any! And if you bet right, you win huge. But no one has ever come on this board talking about much money LIB is making – we all know they don’t make any money yet. That’s why it’s a penny stock. We're betting on how much money they are going to make. This is not yet a revenue generating business and we know this. You seem surprised by this, so again, maybe some Amazon or Canadian Tire would be a better play for your stomach.
And then you randomly quote that CIBC article as if we should be shocked that the socialistic regime we have here in Canada is trying to suck up all the profits. Saw that article too...they provide no source for their data, but I wasn't surprised by the figure. The gov't already takes over 50% in the booze industry yet tons of Canadian producers and suppliers of alcohol in Canada still manage to make money. Check out this article from February:
https://business.financialpost.com/business/b-c-cannabis-retail-regs-put-firewall-between-production-and-sales This is EXACTLY where North Road will come in. The fact that most provincial governments will control and regulate distro does not mean that they will actually perform the act of distribution themselves. Look at Ontario for example. There are loads of private companies that distribute alcohol in accordance with LCBO regulations. THIS is a place in the supply chain that all the quick flip corporations (flipped from mining into pot overnight and applied for a license to
produce) have been ignoring, except Namaste and Liberty Leaf.
And quoting the CIBC article...here's the link btw:
https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2018/05/10/cannabis-industry-canada-provinces-profit_a_23431744/ Did you read the whole article? Did you read this:
But the provinces stand to make around $3 billion in income a year, both in profit from the retail outlets some provinces will be running, as well as from taxes levied on cannabis. The whole article is about retail sales, and profit taking at
that level in the supply chain. The author completely ignores the fact that the vast majority of LPs will not have contracts to supply these government retailers, similar to most craft breweries. So, the craft brewers have to turn to the distributors representing a number of craft brewers and thereby having more leverage to land contracts with the government alongside the big producers like Molson and Labatt. This is why I invested in LIB, and exactly why there are lots of articles just like the one I posted above, discussing the need for distribution in between production and retail sales. It’s logistics 101. Someone has to fill that gap, and LIB is gonna be there!
Here, read this...it's actually pretty insightful.
https://northroadventures.com/opportunity.html And yes, no guarantees this is gonna work, but damn if I'm not willing to bet some big money on it when all of the other small caps seem to be completely ignoring this void in the marketplace. North Road could also play a key role in distributing quality Canadian products down to the states, a legal market that is already 3 times the size of Canada's
yet to be legal market. They do discuss international distro on their website. Anyway, that's it for this essay. I think I need to leave the board for a few weeks. Too much ignorance these past few days.
Just remember, I never said you were all gonna make a ton of money on LIB. All I've been trying to say is; while anyone could lose it all on any LP penny play; at least LIB is positioned to be an LP
and an LD. They're all risky. And yes, we are probably gonna make a ton of money on LIB! All the penny MJ stocks are getting destroyed these days, but at least LIB has a real chance at bouncing back.
