Oasis Brings Icon Steve McQueen to Digital Collectors
Liquid Avatar's wholly owned subsidiary, Oasis Digital Studios, announced today that they have secured the rights to manage Don Nunley’s photos of Steve McQueen’s iconic images from the legendary movie Le Mans and the 1970 Porsche 917K #22.
 
Following this news, $LQID is up 4.5% to $0.115 with a mc of $12.21M.
 
- The images are expected to sell for $18M USD in August at a Sotheby’s auction
 
- Oasis will offer exclusive images from the set of the 1971 movie Le Mans
 
- The digital collectibles will feature collectible images, animations, and enhanced exclusives, starting at US$9.99
 
Considering the NFT market surged 2,100% to $2B in Q1 sales of 2021, this is great news for $LQID as these Steve McQueen and Le Mans images are some of the most iconic images of automotive entertainment. The NFTs will debut as part of Oasis’ partnership with Sweet starting August 13 of this year.
