RE:RE:RE:All you people doWell, I don't short stocks simply because I don't know enough about options. But, man you are wound up! Use shorting to your advantage, play into their game and find your buy-in when they smash a stock down. Shorts can't literally push a stock down by trading alone, they use fear and sentiment, they manipulate bids and asks, but those number are only ghosts until we give in and make the numbers a reality. If investors and traders like us stay the course and educate ourselves on how shorting occurs, we can hold onto our shares and keep the stock at a stable level, which in turn, causes the option “puts” or “calls” to be out of the money and hence a short squeeze begins.
Just chill a bit and offer something useful to the board instead of shouting from the roof tops that the devil is risen! That kind of behaviour plays into the decline of a stock because it caters to instability of a stock and of those who invest in it. If you act like a wild card, the shorts will love you.
