RE:Crowd funding seems to screw the early investors ? I don't see how $0.70 is leaving early investors in the dust, capital needs to be raised and by my estimation $0.70 is right on the money. The share price shot up to the mid eighties three weeks before the announcement but it was obvious there was little support at that price. It shot back to the low sixties, eventually settling to the mid seventies. I honestly expected a capital raise at $0.60 or $0.65 but was pleasantly surprised.
This is my favourite company on my list of marijuana plays, I really like True Leaf it ticks all my boxes but I looked at the share price yesterday and said out loud “That is insane”. If someone can explain how True Leaf is worth over a $1.00 a share right now please, inform me. Between the lack of explanation behind the crowdfunding, the offering price to current share price, the fact that a lot of people think they are using this capital raise to build a 1m sqft facility, it just looks like a big mess to me at the moment. Also this crowd funding is totally uncharted waters, which is fine by me but if it fails to generate the funding it will delay the completion of the retro fit, which delays the license, which will have an exaggerated negative effect on the share price.
I personally think all this confusion could have been avoided with a simple PP at the same $0.70 evaluation, I know I would have bought into that. I wish I could explain how the crowdfunding works but I don’t have a damn clue.
