Canadian Pot sales growth

Canadian Pot sales growthfor 2022 is expected to be 37% with an estimated 4000 stores by years end, growth is expected to be 30% for 2023 with stores reaching 5000 by years end. The largest sector growth within the pot sector is beverages which is expected to double each year and reach as much as 7% of total pot sales by the end of 2023. The beverage sector is expected to see substantial consolidation over the coming 18 months. The two largest growth provinces are Ontario and B.C. reaching a saturation point when there is a store for every 6000 population. Sales per store are estimated to be 1.1 million over 12 months by the end of 2023. There was an exception to the estimated beverage sales based on the government increasing the carry-out sales to 24 or 48 units per visit. If it's approved then estimates of the beverage sector sales would increase to 11% of the total pot sales. The interesting thing for me is what is the landscape going to look like within 12 months? Which companies are going to be left standing? There are something like 20 beverage companies in Canada most are selling less than 4 beverages only 5 or so have a a larger number of beverages on the market. Based on the growth of beverages offered by this company I suspect by the end of the year this company will have the largest line-up of beverages. Again I must caution everyone, without a large enough working capital this company will be unlikely to reach any targets they have set for themselves, the reverse is also true, with a large enough working capital it could become the sector leader within a very short period of time.
