RE:its appears the halt was just another ill advised pump I think what's actually occuring is that many investors aren't seeing the signficance of today's NR. It not only is a whole new pathway to mass production and revenue (or licensing deal) that is now added to their pipeline, but is one that aims to be implemented in a human population of 163,000,000 people and 67 Billion animals.
This is absolutely something that warrants a halt imo.
I doubt the late in the morning posting of the NR was planned though. My money is on IIROC holding it up for nitpicking the wording and asking for revisions. Seeing a lot of that recently for anything medical or covid related in any way.
