News Thoughts?

News Thoughts?I really don't mean to sound negative, but here are my thoughts.

Did this news actually surprise anyone? As far as I'm concerned, this news met expectations, and therefore isn't much news at all. They announced back in April that Calyx had a $1M month so I fully expected that after 6.5 months they would have made AT LEAST $6.5M, and that's being conservative. So does 14% above minimum expectation warrant a crazy SP swing? I wouldn't think so, but maybe it does.

The positive takeaway is simply confirmation that Calyx is alive and well, and continues to have promising growth expections, which of course is great news on its own. Nearly $14M in sales annually from their California distributor ALONE should spark some investor interest. I look forward to hearing news about their strategy for continued expansion.

Imagine if/when restrictions are lifted on cannabis in the US to the extent that Calyx can start working across state lines... They would be well established, equipped, and experienced to become a top national distributor.

Until then...baby steps. IMO.
