Talking to NEW AGE about drilling ... I've had a talk, by phone, with NEW AGE (African Global Energy) today. Of course they can't confirm or deny anything. But they were aware of the recently downloadable PDF from WesternZagros suggesting the second drilling (Shewashan-1) is about to start in July. They didn't want to confirm the date/month, and didn't know where WesternZagros got their information for the "KURDISTAN ACTIVITY UPDATE JUNE 2013", but said they have no reason doubt the accuracy of the PDF-document.
Since NEW AGE (as well as we) are waiting for the arbitration result, the lid is on. I asked about the future and was told that NEW AGE are fulfilling their commitments regarding the PSC (production sharing contract) and therefore will be able to renew the contract.
So essentially, we (Range Energy Resources - C.RGO) are back at square one ... Waiting for info.
But at least, so far, it doesn't look hopeless.
I look upon the fact that NEW AGE increased their ownership in the KHALAKAN BLOCK as positive.
