RE:RE:Strong op-Ed on US legalization Alibaba, I think NL has been operating the company to try to maximize their value when US federal legalization is occurring. You are right that the big companies will then enter the space and take over. But that involves a race to buying up market share. I could be wrong but I think the plan all along has been to maximize the sale of the IP portfolio (the company) at a premium. This would explain the poison pill they set up as well.

If NL can have a couple hundred patents (that have actual value) then big companies (CPG, Pharma, etc) could look to acquire at a time when there could be a bidding war.

NL has to first attain the IP, and then prove their value in the market.
