Paul Pedersen; seven hard years being a cannabis company CEO

Hi All:

Roughly a year ago, I received a phone call from Paul. At the time he was confined and needed a friend. I took notes and then I wrote the attached for him.

He’s going through another tough time right now. I hope the words provide context and a jumping off point to reach out to him with love and support. The more people who email/message letting him know how much he’s admired and valued, the better. Also, the sooner the better.

I knew something was amiss with the sudden resignation of the company CEO and president, without a clear successor in place. It is now evident that the burden and responsibilities of building the business has taken a toll on Paul’s well being. Thank you for sharing Taran. I personally have most of my savings in Nextleaf because I felt Paul was the man. It was tough loosing a good part of it unjustifiably, as he describes, and I am sure long term investors in this company share this profile, including the mental heath challenge. Same here. I bought at $0.40 with both my TFSA and RRSP. I still haven't sold a share. As infuriatingly undervalued as the company is, we got to profitability. Here's hoping Paul can force himself to rest and recover.
