RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: GO LONGHis options give him real reason to make a strategic move and get the stock price up. In the long run , when the sp sits at 10+ he'll look like a hero and make a $hit load of money no matter where he goes or stays.....this is his time to show everyone what he's got. But he doesn't have to do anything. When the smoke clears and production ramps up, everyone will look at slubicky and go "man was he ever smart to not sell the farm!" Ideally, he'll either make a smart asset sale or go it alone.
$hit happens, they have the money to get through this and more on tap. Will he make a sale? Maybe.....does it matter......no. NO. With cheap gas, low sors, and higher oil prices, opti is still set to make as much eps as they were expected to make before both the asset sale and the distribution of more shares.
Isn't eps the bottom line? ...what sets the price of the stock......yeah! Having pipeline restrictions is not OPtis fault. Any one who thinks that enbridges woes is proof that opti can't succeed will be sadly mistaken.
Think about it this way. Slubicky didn't work his whole life just to sell out and be known for that. Who hires a CEO with that rep?! In the big picture options and incentives are a drop in the bucket. Ultimate success for shareholders leads to bigger and bettter jobs for CEO's.......where the real money is.
RJ....TD.....well, why not pump and dump? Run it up a little and keep the momentum up while they flog their shares.
They'll be buying huge after 3q results as everyone cries home to mama, the smart money will be accumulating and away we go!
Better yet, the market actually gets a shot of positive news and the frenzy begins!
