RE: RE: RE: RE2: recent presentation

RE: RE: RE: RE2: recent presentationLOL!   Sorry guys, if I lost you there.  NCX , Nova was on the ropes back during the big crash.....they couldn't borrow any more money and they were less than a month away from running out.  $25 stock fell to $1.60, then boom, they got bought out for $6 or so.  Great for those who bought sub 6 but not so good for the long term 25 guys.  Had they been able to borrow some money they would have sqeaked by but yeah, it was absolutely a surprize to everyone. The strange thing was, they had this really informative powerpoint presentation that just got updated......great data.....really spelled out a positive future.  The CEO was always saying "we'll get some money and everything will be fine".......but one day he switched it up......he said something similar to slubicki....like "due to the nature of recent events, I can't tell you anything anymore."........then about a week later the buyout was made public.........aka...the bomb.
APL, did the same thing.....same old presentation, running out of cash, moodys downgraded them, stock went from $40 to $3.....then voila, shiny new presentaion........a month or two later they sold off some gas fields, paid down some debt and they are back up to $31..........I swore that I would never sell that too, but I did.....way too soon.  Oh well......still made money, only to lose it here.......
Dow Chemical was also trying to sell some assets to kuwait a few years ago.....kuwait backed out luckily for Dow as Liver lips (CEO) never made a back door clause.....his mistake for Dow's fortune....anyways.....what did I see at that same time.......some new detailed presentations..........see the trend?

Double down....yes double my position.
