642 feet of well sorted sand in La CrecienteJust doing some more reading tonight.
They say that La Creciente had 642 feet of well-sorted sand in the corporate presentation... that's about 250 feet thicker than any of the other nearby wells that are included as potenital analogues in the 2004 techincal report. Hmmmm....
The vertical closure of La Creciente looks to be far greater than that of the nearby Guepaje field as well. The nearby Guepaje field was used to help esitmate potential net pay at "prospect A". Double hmmmm.....
The "High Estimate" case for prospect A had potential recoverable gas resources of 557 BCF in that 2004 technical report. That was based on a net pay thickness of 65 feet over an area of about 10,000 acres. There's a blob outlining the "max closure" of prospect A on page 31 of the same report. It doesn't look much like the La Creciente in the PSE corporate presentation and it's barely in the same place (amazing how a little seismic work can "shift" a prospect), but a little work with powerpoint drawing tools reveals that the gross area of the "max closure" of the "old blob" (in the report) and the "new blob" (in the corporate presentation) are actually quite similar. Triple hmmmmmmm.....
Just a few things to ponder as we wait for some kind of update on La Creciente. I hadn't considered that 550+ BCF might be in play here, but maybe it is?
I've been known to outthink myself though, so take all this with a grain of salt.
