More Information, From The Source!
Confusion sometimes reigns supreme. Back and forth, e-mails, sometimes only give snippets of information!
Conversation would be more reliable, sitting at the same table, with a beer in hand!
"..Talbot is a copper-zinc deposit with high conductance. To have a pure zinc deposit with low conductance is unusual as most zinc deposits are associated pyrrhotite and other conductive sulphides. Eventually, the geophysical consultants determined that the best geophysical similarities would be that of formational sulphides...pyrite/pyrrhotite.."
The assumption that the experts made was that Talbot is primarily a copper zinc deposit with high conductance and that the deep plate is more than likely, not really worth pursuing!
I asked him if the Tower deposit was related in any geologic way to the Talbot deposit as VMS deposits tend to run in clusters. He responded by informing me that Talbot and Tower are 40 km apart and in separate districts, both with their own potential for big discoveries! These huge deposits could lie anywhere nearby!
"...The Tower Property is associated with rocks of the Thompson Nickel Belt South corridor and "fingers" of Flin Flon-Snow Lake greenstone belt. Its complicated and has both opportunities of VMS and base metal-Pgm. The significance of the TGR Ni-Pgm prospect remains to be determined. More work. More drilling..."
"...The Bur Deposit is an advanced stage prospect. The property has great potential to significantly grow. In my opinion it remains our number one property open in all directions with several nearby untested targets to drill. To achieve critical mass on this asset would serve us well.
The Penex Property is a greenfields opportunity and would be a new discovery only 4 km west of Lalor. Maybe its the big one!
We have literally dozens of targets throughout our portfolio with exploration and discovery potential..."
With regard to his role as CEO, he stated this: "..I am an explorer first and foremost. I would be very happy to step aside if it was viewed that a new person with the mining experience was required to put a deposit in production. Certainly lt's a nice option to have..."
Ken was re-instated as CEO to focus the company's direction, back into exploration, where its roots as a company, began!
But the option of being a miner, still remains on the table!
Actually, all options, still remain on the table! The table is large and it is chock full of plates!
The company continues to search for the motherlode.
But in the meantime, the Bur deposit continues to grow, much larger in size!
All the best! Java
