Silo Wellness (SILO) has opened its first ecotourism micro-dosing psilocybin resort and retreat at the Go Natural Jamaica centre in Jamaica.
Locally sourced psilocybin mushroom micro dosing capsules are available on site for a nominal cash purchase. Applicants receive a one-on-one meeting with Silo’s journey planning team, an evaluation for retreat, and contraindications from an in-house pharmacologist.
“These [participants] are not looking to experiment with psychedelics for recreational purposes at a club or party… very intentional and mindful individuals looking to better understand themselves and their place in the universe… They are wanting to learn about psilocybin while learning about themselves,” Mike Arnold, founder of Silo Wellness.
Silo also stated that the qualified participants would be provided with recommendations on how to make the most of the process to help them put in the work to reset and reprogram their minds.
Participants will have optional micro dosing nature excursions including a waterfall swim, harvesting supper at a permaculture jungle farm, a bamboo raft river float, Caribbean boat tour, and island picnic.
In other news, Silo stated its team has been working on securing more property partnerships in Jamaica to scale up retreats to reduce costs and to provide additional revenue through increased inventory. Last month, the company successfully piloted a luxury retreat in Trelawny, Jamaica.
The company has also been trying to set up Oregon psilocybin by visiting rural retreat properties for potential purchase or joint venture with the intention to purchase property.
