It looks as though the shorts are gone for now, the trading/buying volume was too low to create a squeeze, as it looks like they simply covered their bets. Yesterday's volume was exremely low, with only 6125 shares being short volume, probably the lowest on record. Looks like the chart is in a period of equilibrium. If we get significant news/volume here shortly there should be a nice gap up. February 8th being the closing date for the latest debentures, look for the media show to begin not long after that. It is going to get very interesting here, IMO, with brand launch, customers for the bays, propogation commencement, new pods appear to be arriving in Okanagan, something has got to give.
Don't get caught up in the cash burn drama below, every big player wants a part of Sunniva's significant first mover advantage in California. Once the bugs get worked out and this facility is producing significant volumes, Sunniva should easily become the larget partner/acquisition target in Calfornia. The brand winner in Calfornia, will be the brand winner in the US, and large scale production has to be a part of that to ensure loyalty and continued growth.
