I suspect as well that the black market will find it easier to export cannabis (get it out in one lump sum) then compete with the surging legal market which is expected to grow from $2.5 billion in 2018 to over $5 billion in 2019. The cities and counties that have banned cannabis businesses plays against the MEDMEN and medical cannabis dispensary models but will be a market monopoly for strong distribution companies. Colonel Wilkerson has vast experience from his military days deploying troops and strategizing, as well he owned a 40 chain pizza business with vast distribution coverage. I also suspect he will be well respected by Newsom and the National Guard.The $$$ of cannabis in California is a premium right now for the legal variety, which is good if you have a market for it. Price compression will play into Sunniva's hands as they look to have the strongest low cost/ high value product strategy out there today.
Agree with you that purchase orders are one thing, sales are another. If Sunniva executes on these purchase contracts and completes the cultivation facility by the Q1 financials, it will be a meteoric rise in SP by all accounts. Bids are picking up here lately and this morning, so it's a good bet right now as very little is priced in due to all the reasons everyone has moaned about the past year. GLTA
