Ted Ohashi is in denial

In one of his comments today, Ted said the sp would go down briefly (if at all) and then will quickly go up. Basically, his words were that this is a super deal and will not affect the sp.
Frankly, I think this guy is in denial. He says he was once a broker. If true, he is really naive.
How can a bought deal financing that is done at an approx 10% discount that dilutes shares outstanding by approx 9% not weigh in on the stock? What's he smoking? I have yet to see a company's sp NOT trade below when shares are diluted. Sure, sp will recover (quickly for some and gradually for others) but not like the market will brush it off from day one, like Ted is saying.

The fact that Sunniva paid for his trip to California is not professional imo. Can that be termed as stock promotion, knowing fully well that he writes on SA with a buy recommendation on SNN? Sunniva has links to his SA articles on their website as well.

Ted achieved glory by picking MJ stocks, but you did not have to be a genius to make money in this sector if you invested 2 years ago. Canopy's CEO recently joked that if anyone invested in this sector 2 years ago did not make money, then something was wrong with the investor.

Just calling it as I see it. Feel free to critique.

I think he must have based that on anecdotal evidence, meaning when it has happened to many of the others already in the space, it was absorbed without much notice due to the high volume of trading. Yes, he is paid by companies for sure and is an avid investor, with biased conflicts of interest, all legal and above board. He knows quite a bit though, so an effective pumper for amateurs.

Effective pumper for amateurs. Guys, Sunrize and Bluechip, you are both a little bit mad that the stock went down as it did. Nobody likes seeing -8%, so the mood is understandably a bit negative at the moment. Tomorrow it can go up 10%, and everybody will be singing a different tune. Nothing material has changed about the Sunniva story, there's nothing untoward going on, and there's no ...more

Sunniva4life: I expected better from you. You clearly ignore the points I raise and resort to name calling. Perhaps you would do well to calm down and read my post a few more times, take a deep breath and think. Try refuting the points I made and stay focused. Very unprofessional and uncalled response from you on this.

I was annoyed by the tone and content of your message. The easiest thing to do is turn negative in situations like this. First of all, I represent nobody besides myself and I make no claim to being a professional. Now, to address the matter at hand. 1. Ted Ohashi is only human. He has the privilege of being wrong and can make mistakes sometimes, just like anybody else. But making a post with ...more

... with all that being said, I apologize for my own negative tone and name calling. I was wrong to post that way.
