Great news for SolCF from the Georgia Election Results!
Great news:
So it looks like the democratic party will sweep both Georgian Senate Seats. This paves the road to the following positive results for Verano and other portfolio companies of SolCF in order of likely sequence:
1. Decriminalization of Marijuana at the federal level (particularly the use of Medical Cannabis use)
2. Removal of Marijuana from the Schedule 1 drug classification
3. The SAFE banking act will get approved
4. Cannabis companies will now be able to enter into debt financing
5. Cannabis companies will be able to be listed on the NYSE/NASDAQ
6. States will still determine rules and licensing so the "moats" for the MSOs will remain in place. Biden has made it clear that he wants the states to control their own decision making in this matter.
7. MSOs with adjacent borders with "open" states may be able to grow cultivation centers to service multiple territories while maintaining "moats" in their home states (note: this particular positive will vary on a state by state basis)
This is very exciting and SolCF should see some major benefits from this both from Verano, Bluma, Heavenly and possibly other portfolio companies.

Redo your SP calculation with a $4B sticker on Verano when it starts trading.....could be an epic run starting here for SOL and all US players.

Agreed, I just don't want to give any fuel to the naysayers who will say its value is $2.88Bn and not more (I have very little doubt that Verano will not trade above a $4Bn market cap this year). SolCF will be a rocket soon enough...

Your thesis is right on... you know i always take the conservative side lets have fun...all USD WHY can't verano RTO trade at the same metrics as CURA...6.5 bill USD Sol lifts to 4.5 cdn on jan 25 when they vote on the rto goes to 5.5 on listing day in feb blue sky 7.00 fun

i dont speak broke! been in this since september n have thoroughly enjoyed the ride thus far as this baby is my biggest position. I think naming my first born Sol is a little extreme but not out of the question haha! glta
