All the new tests that have come on the market are antibody test.. No new Antigen test I am aware of that has been 3rd party validated. Bashers clog the board with info on all these boards. We are not going to get rid of them until everyone starts reporting.. the Report Rebuse button is right under their post. That's it! We only compete with other Antigen tests and there are only 2 on the market currently, Quidel and BD and both need a special machine to read the test results. Bottlenecking with this system is a problem. SONA'S TEST is not restrictive like these... Their accuracy is below Sona's as well. They have not been 3rd party validated by a major lab like MRIGlobal. And they are in the low 80's percentage wise. yes I know Quidel now claims they have 96%..right after Sona did.
Sona is not behind schedule. They said Field Studies complete by end of the month...July. I do not know where in the process they are with that, but because Sona co-ordinated with the FDA & MRIGlobal it is not just up to Sona when they release it to the public. We are only 3 business days since the end of July so give them a break..it will come.
Once the reports are handed into Sona they will share results with the FDA HC and MRI first. Then boom.... the FDA is well aware of the need for Sona's test, but wants to make sure Field results support the data that was given to them by MRIGlobal, the Canadian lab and Sona's own inhouse lab results. Sona has been through 3 different Validations...
When we break out on the world we don't want any glitches...neither does the FDA as they got scammed badly with a bunch of test companies with crappy tests came on the scene quickly, sold under the EUA and when the FDA actually studied them they failed miserably. They have recalled over 60 tests so naturally FDA wants to make sure. If anyone has doubts.. listen.. Sona validated the test in-house at their lab in Halifax, also with a 3rd party lab in Canada but the sample virus they had, had been heated and could not give results.. they did however test hospital samples and they came back 100% accuracy. rMRI 96%. We know it works.. Don't worry and stop belly aching everyone.... Buy more.. what a boone.. I got some right at $10...I count that as a very good buy.
As far as vaccine we are. 12-18 months minimum...but they are not opitimistic how effective it will be considering C19 antibodies disappear fast.. Boosters every 2 months is impossible with this. There will be a lot of people who do not want to take it. Plus this Virus is mutating and the New outbreak in Vietnam, reported a few days ago that the new strain of C19 is 3 x's as contagious as the one we have in NA..and they found that those who were infected were more severly sick than the first round of C19. I hope they do make a vaccine, but there will be a need for Antigen testing foryears... Look the USA is still walking around like a chicken with their heads cut off. No National Stragey... And don't forget we have an exclusive partnership with SAUDIVAX.
