This news although long overdue is great and should propel the stock over $2 today..One would hope that the long development time line has given SONA the ability to fine tune the test so that its nearly guaranteed approval... could be good news by the end of the month... if not, definately next month... ;-)
Actually, I'll be surprised if Sona makes it above $2.00 today. I certainly don't expect it to close above $2. As was said a couple of posts below - nobody cares about new tests. Sona could create a real skookum test and would still be lucky to sell any or breakeven on their investment.
You were saying JJ... $2.10 my friend... could have a push into the weekend as this news probably still hasn't been completely disceminated.. ;-)
So, just like I said, right? I take no joy in that as I'm down considerably on my Sona shares. This opportunity is over, IMO. The world is flooded with tests - do we need another one? Would there even be a market? Yes, I know we (the world) is burning through millions of tests/day. Sona's test is nowhere near being ready - just beginning the process, don't have manufacturing or distribution either. And, think of this; let's say in a month or two (or six) they get a test approved, manufactured and ready for sale - announce to the world; "We're ready to sell." Who's gonna buy it? What hospital or health authority will go through the hassle of adding a supplier when they can just call their current supplier and order another truckfull.
