Looks like a small scale production run, seen something like this before about ten years ago. I suspect it will go something like this. Test strips are automated. Pick up a strip place it in one half of the device pick up the other half and snap them together. My guess would be 20 per minute per person. Or it may be automated and they are there to check them all as they come off the line. Which ...more

A simple question or two. Why would they bring on production workers if they didn't have some idea about approval from HC? Something else that was said by the government today. They said fast track to those producing in Canada. So what would you do as a company if you had all this production ready to go in other countries but to get a fast track approval from HC you needed production in Canada ...more

there are loop holes in made in Canada regulations with bulk orders. It's used by almost all large companies importing into Canada. As long as some part of the order is made in Canada in some way it is considered made in Canada. Not sure off hand how much has to be made in Canada but it's small something like 10% of the order maybe less, have to do a bit of research I guess.
