I Think It's Time

The numbers I am posting here are an average multiple of the sector, they are the companies indicated margins and a speculative initial sales number based on orders around the world for tests an a sales price of $20 U.S. We will use a 70% margin on sales and an initial sales number 50 million for the year and a sector multiple of 25 times. Here are the numbers for 50 million in sales. 50 million x$20=1 Billion dollars x .7 ( margin ) = $700 million profit x 25 multiple = 17.5 billion divided by the number of shares outstanding = $282 u.s. per share x 1.32 to change the number to Canadian = $372 per share sector valuated for the sale of 50 million units per year. This is an example only!!!!!! The real number will come when they announce sales after approvals.

We do not know as of yet. The approvals must be given then the company has to announce sales. From the interview the manufacturing is in place and can ramp up fast with shipping starting in November. I am sure if HC gives it's approval sales numbers will be announced. Until everything is made public we can't say for certain what the real number will be. In my opinion the airline industry ...more

To understand the market you have to know the numbers the market uses. The market will value a stock on announced information, it does not wait for a year to value a stock. If they announce 50 million in orders the market will value them on that information right away ( within a month ) not a year down the road. Those sector valuation numbers will not change. Companies with fast growth will see ...more

Personally, I feel those numbers are very conservative. That being said, The timeline is still uncertain. Manufacuring is one thing, but untill we receive HC and FDA appovals, we are stuck spinning our wheels.    We are 7 months into this pandemic and the fact that HC is just getting around to approving rapid tests. Is nothing short of pathetic. I have no bias one way the other with ...more

I agree there are numbers used by the market but those number are reserved for hyper growth companies. I am not prepared to share those types of numbers until they announce sales that would indicate we have a hyper growth company.

WO, you and me both. I have no doubt about getting there. The question is: How many months will it take to get there?
Comment by dart321 on Oct 11, 2020 6:08pm
that is a very simple question to answer. The market will take the share price to the value it gives to the announced sales. If more and more contracts are announced over time the market will continue adjusting to the continued information. it's all about earnings per share the more contracts announced the higher the earnings the higher the price. This is why margins are critical. You have a ...more
