funny trading

Bid 100 shares at 8.70   Ask 100 shares 8.72  ha ha. It's a $2 difference in purchase price.
Come on cough that Toonie, what a joke

I agree with you, but if you look into it, 100 nshare common bids stinks of the share manipulation that is going on. These aren't retial investors doing that! Cheers

I agree with stingray as well.. and absolutely these 1 board lot trades are retail IMHO.. little guys, Robin Hooders trying their hand at trading..

Who fuccking cares, I don't care if it's up 1000%, wrong board! We don't want to hear about it. Hey look at xxx it's up today and it's going to double next week, get in now, train is leaving the station, last chance for cheap shares. I know an insider, I have privileged information on this stock. All my picks this year are up. BLA BLA BLA....... You oaky with everyone ...more

Respectfully disagree with you Moe, in the majority of my observations, retailers buy based upon dollar amounts, not share counts. Cheers!

My take is retail is more apt to buy small amounts (ie: 1 board lot = 100 shares) thus that's why you see stink bids at 100 shares (1 board lot) which is from a dollar amount more condusive to small traders..

Once again, I respectfully disagree. Retailers don't know what board lots are, and they buy to their account limit, not to a share count, especially a nice round one like that. This is common manipulation, done on a microscale by groups that have an interest in ending the day red. It is all overcome by buying and selling at appropriate times, and it makes a market for those of us that know how ...more

Could someone explain to me exactly what you all think is going on, by whom, why and what makes you think that?
Comment by dart321 on Oct 16, 2020 12:52pm
those two are 100% clueless about what is going on but it's fun to read their brain dead opinions it give us a good laugh.

Yes I see that side of the arguement as well. Like painting the ticker at the end of the day. We see .20 - .40 increases just at the close. I think we are all in agreement that manipulation has become easy here because there are no buyers at these levels. The traders are having their way with it.  It's apparent they can drive the price down easily becuse there is next to no resitance ...more

It is a beautiful day outside.... I expect Sona to have their product approved and released at some point in the next few months. The company is on the CSE for crying out loud, and is a low share count. Wild swings are normal. Everything that I see, the round share count bids and asks, the swings, everything points to a very bright future. This is what happens when the small funds try to get in ...more

I realise that Aarman, but the stock price is established in every stocks case, by board lots... fractionaly board lots do not  change the share price... and if retail investors decide to buy 50 shares they will pay a premium quite often, and that premium will not reflect the share price.. so regardless of whether or not they're aware of board lots, thats the way stocks trade that ...more

It appears so Aarman... my whole premise was based on you're first post regarding this topic.. quote: Aarman4 wrote:I agree with you, but if you look into it, 100 nshare common bids stinks of the share manipulation that is going on.
