For anyone that was on the conference call at the end of October it was obvious that there were no participants from any institutions and it was simply 3-4 questions from retail investors. It was not a great use of time for them and I was a participant in the call so I was there to hear it all first hand.
My opinion there is no call is one of two reasons.
1. Keith did not want to answer the same questions regarding the JV, release date etc. if he only had the same answers to give. It would just cause negativity amongst the listeners and boards such as this.
2. Keith may have answers to our questions that he is not prepared to give yet and does not want to provide falsehoods on a conference call. If they are releasing drinks at the end of Q1 or start of Q2 it is POSSIBLE an entire drink profile has been submitted to HC and we have no idea, it is POSSIBLE that the Moosehead JV is done and they are just waiting to announce that when they have a drink profile ready to go.
This is all pure speculation, but it is much more constructive than calling out the CEO for being unequipped to handle a few questions that could easily be anticipated. That kind of speculation is irresponsible and something I would expect from hawkll.
I completely agree Bliz. Keith is a well trained speaker and it is evident that the content majority of his speeches are scripted. This is mandatory. It is imperative to stick to a well prepared script in order to remain within the predetermined boundaries of information dissemination. Shooting from the hip is for Donald Trump. Keith is much more refined and has a lot less leeway and more to lose. Yes, I just said a lot more to lose then the puppet president of a secret and privately operated Union of States. That is another topic for another time. Go to town on that Hawk!
I have participated in every conference call as an auditor. I have never offered comments on the call or asked questions. This is no shot to any of you that asked questions. However, the structure of the questioning was very poor and did not open the floor for proper dialogue. Also, the only institutional interest was from that of Desjardins. I can very much see the reasons Bliz listed as the possibilities for prioritizing his time accordingly.
As much as I would have enjoyed the info/answers/clarification to the speculation tabled on this board and interrogation by Hawk, I believe Keith made the appropriate decision. I believe in this tech, company, management and if Keith sees fit to hold all info in his back pocket until the time is right to lay them on the table, then so be it. It does not derail my confidence of the successes to come.
