Does it bother you that i'm studying the NT region ?
I think it's not fully understood -
From Cabin Lake right up there;s the iron chlorite formation
From cabin Lake to Yellowknife there's a granatoid formation but with further scrutiny - it appears there's also mafic volcanics -
Thing is... i have nor seen any - drill / explore / mine / map - yet... that shows they've explored this region in bewtween -
Draw a vertical line right up from Cabin Lake then another right up from Yellowknife
this western section is wide open - most say granatoid but i just came across another who defined it with - mafic volcanics amidst the granatoids.
Heck i even came across another who thinks same as me....
Once flooeded wirth ocean.
Iron chlorite gold westerly,
Mafic volcanic, veing, greywacke, argilite gold central
Upper North East, argilite carbon diamond deposits - which i have a hard time beleiving
there's no gold in those pillar deposits - wink.
And of course, a smoking gin ....
Sediments with very little spoken about - placer gold.
Heck... even gold terra has a pic drilling atop a frozen lake.

Add in -- it's very hard ot find info on the Con mine as it is with most Major miners.
Just borad strokes... And, the Giant mine is relavvent - especially if they had 8 open pit mines from 1974 forward.
Igneiss rock as basement.
Metamorpha into a muiod vartiey of assemblages that one needs a dictionary to decipher.
Next Mafic Volcanics, Next, comes the invasive quarts and seems... and a conglomerate silt capping to seal the mysterious NT.
PERSONALLY I THINK THIS...
Massive volcanic cauldron thorughtout.... NT..
Ocean once covered this entrie region allowed for ample cooling.
Hugr polar shift floooed the area - creating lakes...
Small influence of polar capping.
Moreso - watershed seen in conglomerate capping broad and diverse cemeted in clays.
i WOULD MAKE THAT BET AND SAY...
There is placer... but at lake bottoms.
Those are the pockets inwhich the gold became trapped.
Lots of erosion is seen around the lakes with significant sands and conglomerates ...
Am i right ?
Hey... one more assesment wouldn't hurt the NT - given many have taken a poke at it.
DO i agree with Sixty's assesment with - thin saddle ttype depsoit - whereas the nose harbors most the gold ?
Sounds interesting but...
if they've identified the one main vein and assume the other dives right back down...

What's throwing me off is...
The other surface veins they've found.
Are these tentacles fro ma main vein system ?
Meaning - octopus head belwo - source.
And quasi tenticles that surfaced in several arms ?
I would lean moreso ot this theory than a single veining system...
All because the surface viens they recently found also have high grade which crushes the theory of - one main vein looped in a hairpin formation....
I've analyzed the historical drilling.
Most is focused on the main mine.
I would do a step out and drill the perimeter of the main mine.
East and West have been recognized.
So... 30 - 50m stepout drilling the circumfrence - using the pattern of, X drilling on acuter angle. North South firstly ... then east and west.
Hoping ot cross sect more tenticle veins.
Seeing that they discovered more surface veining with big gold, the probability of more veining systems could be present.
Hnece why i said...
is it better to drill weak resistivities or strong ?
I would be looking for the resistivities over the current trenching and trying to see similar areas that offer same signature.
I seen many a MT surveys...
It's a cluster ( f 0 sometimes.
Gold cna be tricky - if it's alkai gold or sulfidfe.
If there's grewacke present - clays can throw off MT surveys...
same with salt deposits.
Peers nearby seem ot like targeting the - volcanics and argilites.
Waht is not known are the drill results ( historical ) tapping into the Mon mine.
I'd like ot know if the argiloites or greywacke harbor gold.
If so... then what are they... eand if the grades are similar to the two nearby peers -
then... how broad is this system ?
I'm seeing a great target area on the other side of, Discovery lake.
I coined it the - 3rd outcrop.
It's areas like this that need to be incorporated into the mix ot see if this system is far larger.
Or... an entriely different system.
Anyways....
Time will Tell all.
As per my last post - speaking of the depth of the Mon Mine.
Hmmmm... i'm still weaving through the 43 101 - i would say,
the corp presentatio nmight have a typo - i don't think the shaft is as long as was stated.

Wang Instead of clipping and pating nonsense and things out of context why not try to do things the old fashion way and try to understand and learn something. It is never too late to use your brain instead of your mouse!
