RE:Satisfied With What?Upper, I was thinking along those same terms, only because of the market/economy we are experiencing these days! (ie. down) Its not as easy as it was a year ago, in today's dollars, Marathon paid way to much to AOI for 50% of block 9, etc (in my opinion)
SMB/Simba did well with their farm out, despite Ajax not being a major, the terms are nearly on par with your last post;
$36 M deal, included $3. M cash, 1 well carry. All in.
Substitute a major in there for less cash and there we have it!!
Maybe TPN mgmt is smart to wait until Sept. or so when the markets start to improve? Not sure but a 1 well carry is the minimum I would accept as well!
