Oct 3 - Talked to JoelJust got off the phone with Joel. He said he has a firm offor for financing the purchase of the land rights and the drilling of a couple of wells. However, he hopes to obtain a better deal next week from another outfit in Dallas. If he can not obtain a better deal from the outfit in Dallas then he will accept the other deal and get on with things. Once he has financing in hand to secure the land he said it will be much easier to obtain financing for drilling. Drillers will except a deal where they get a % of the well as payment for the costs of drilling the well. He said that hopefully a press release should be out in about a month that financing is in place because again he is going to accept one of the two deals.
